This past Saturday, Flash Activities Board brought back the roaring ’20s for their annual FAB Formal tradition.
FAB is an organization on campus that plans and organizes special events for the Flashes community.
Peyton Retone, FAB’s Director of Entertainment, said each theme is different every year, as last year’s was a red dress gala.

“We were kind of bouncing ideas off each other in the office and one of my coworkers just happened to say what about roaring ’20s like the flappers, Great Gatsby vibe,” Retone said.
The glamorous dance was hosted in the ballroom from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Guests were greeted with glitzy decorations upon entering. Guests were offered a variety of themed drinks and food to choose from, a photo booth and a live DJ playing hits all evening.
Students joined in on the fun with themed attire to dress up and dance throughout the night.
Many of the guests keep up with FAB’s hosting through social media, and attend their frequent events such as game nights, karaoke or trivia.
“We had so much fun last year that we were kind of like waiting for tickets to go out,” said sophomore fashion design major Amelia Dobay.
