The successor to Kevin Stefanski has been found.
The Cleveland Browns have hired 59-year old former Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator, Todd Monken, to become the team’s next head coach. Monken is now the 19th coach in the history of the franchise, and its 11th since the Browns came back in 1999.
Monken has served as Baltimore’s OC for the past three seasons, guiding quarterback Lamar Jackson to his second career MVP season in 2023. Prior to that, Monken served as the offensive coordinator for the Georgia Bulldogs for three seasons, assisting head coach Kirby Smart and quarterback Stetson Bennett IV to back-to-back National Championships in 2021 and 2022.
This will be the second stop in Cleveland for Monken, as he previously held the position of offensive coordinator for the Browns in the 2019-2020 season.
