The Kent State men’s basketball team has announced its Feb. 28 home contest against the rival Akron Zips will be moved to 8 p.m. on Feb. 27. The game will also be nationally televised on ESPNU.
The Flashes welcome the Zips into the M.A.C. Center riding a six-game losing streak against “That School Down the Road.” KSU has also struggled as of late, as the team will return to its home court on Wednesday following a 1-2 record in its last three games, all of which were away contests.
In the last 10 matchups between these two Mid-American Conference teams, the Zips hold a record of 8-2, and have not lost a game in Kent since the 2022-2023 season.
