Kent State gymnastics team falls to Central Michigan

The Kent State gymnastics team fell to MAC foe Central Michigan by a score of 194.475 to 193.550.

Although the Flashes never gained the lead, a few gymnasts stood out. Freshman Whitnee Johnson topped the vault competition to win the event with a 9.850.

Despite two falls on the beam, sophomore Marie Case won the event with a 9.775.

Coach Brice Biggin told KentStateSports.com, “We need people to step and do something when we really need it.”
