Kent State University’s multicultural magazine is back after 4 years. The latest issue, “Past and Present,” highlights a wide range of student voices, stories and creative expression from across campus.
Editors said that working on this new issue allowed the magazine to reach a broader audience while staying true to its goal of representing diverse backgrounds and perspectives. The magazine was brought to life through months of collaboration, with a large team of writers, photographers and designers contributing to the final product.
The issue is designed to take readers on a journey through time and encourages them to reflect on the history of their magazine. The team hopes the magazine will inspire students to challenge their own perceptions and explore new forms of expression.
Now available on stands around campus, Uhuru’s return marks a renewed effort to empower students and foster a stronger sense of representation within the Kent State community.
