Jerry Lewis was a faculty marshal during May 4, 1970. 1970 was his first year serving as a faculty marshal. He was actively teaching at Kent State from 1966 to 2013 as a Professor Emeritus of Sociology. He spoke at the Jerry M. Lewis May 4 Lecture Series and Luncheon on Monday, May 2.

Kent State alumni Peter Jedick was a student here during May 4, 1970. He attended the Jerry M. Lewis May 4 Lecture Series and Luncheon on Monday, May 2. Jedick said that he will be attending other events throughout this week.
