Tim Ryan took photos with many students and adults during his time at the Student Recreation and Wellness Center.

Junior Aiyana Ncube was one of the many students who came out to vote. She changed her voter registration from Illinois to Ohio before this election. "This election is extremely important and could change the course of history," Ncube said.

Many students came to see Tim Ryan at the Student Recreation and Wellness Center. After his speech, he took photos with them.

Many students came to the Kent State Student Recreation and Wellness Center to vote during the election.

Nearly 250 Kent State students have until Oct. 7, 2024, to re-register to vote. If they don't, they may be turned away from the election.

In a survey from The Kent Stater/Department of Sociology and Criminology, 253 students listed the issues that mattered most to them in the 2024 election. The top responses were cost of living, abortion, the economy and the climate.

"Reflection Pond" by Mary Ann Tipple is made out of kodachrome slide, cotton and silk ribbon. Tipple's artwork showed details of a pond, trees and people in the background.

William Meyer's artwork, "Chasing the Crumb No. 2," is displayed in a glass case along with other Kent State artists' work.
