Morning update

From the Franklin Hall news room for Wednesday, March 24, I’m Travis McClain and here’s what’s happening…

A Mississippi lesbian on Tuesday won the judge’s backing that her first amendment rights were violated after her school denied her the right to bring her girlfriend as her date and to wear a tuxedo. The judge didn’t make the school reinstate the prom after it was cancelled. This case set legal precedent for gay and lesbian students all over the that is okay to bring same sex dates. The judge stated the ” to step back into a sponsorship role at this late date would only confuse and confound the community on the issue.” The parents are all chipping in to throw the kids a dance somewhere else. Now for the entertainment side of things…

After a long search the actor to play Captain America in the upcoming movie is Chris Evans better known to some as the human torch. Chris Evans was chosen from 10 other actors for this role ranging from the Office to the Jersey Shore. If he does well as Captain America in the upcoming movie they will sign him for the Avengers movie. Now for the weather…

Today’s high is 56 and sunny with a low of 37.
