Reproductive rights teach in brings faculty and students together

As one of the most common abortion pills could be banned in Ohio in the near future, faculty and students came together to host the Reproductive Health and Reproductive Justice Teach In. Lizzy Laufkin, a senior human development and family studies major at Kent, said the event brought together different organizations to collaborate about Roe v. Wade being overturned and provided facts related to reproductive rights. “Showing up in this space and fighting is so important because you don’t know what’s going to happen and lawmakers are in charge of this,” Laufkin said.
