Lizzy Laufkin, a senior human development and family studies major at Kent, said the event brought together different organizations to collaborate about Roe v. Wade being overturned and provided facts related to reproductive rights. “Showing up in this space and fighting is so important because you don’t know what’s going to happen and lawmakers are in charge of this,” Laufkin said.
