Earth Month festivities kick off at Kent State
It’s officially April, but also Earth Month.
At Kent State University, staff and students are collaborating to bring a month full of environment-conscious events.
A new art gallery opened Monday night to kick off the Earth Month festivities. Draining the Swamps art gallery provides a history of Kent’s wetlands from student research.
Draining the Swamps art gallery will be open until April 21 in the DI Hub’s second-floor gallery.
But the gallery is just the first of many events by Kent State’s Earth Month committee.
