“Urinetown” musical opens in Center for Performing Arts

“Urinetown” opened Friday night in the Center for Performing Arts. The musical is based on a 20-year drought and water shortage which led to a ban on private toilets. Citizens were forced to use public amenities at a cost.

The musical gives a comedic light on corporate greed and government bureaucracy. It runs through March 5. More information and tickets can be found online here.

TV2’s Avery Savage spoke to several actors in the performance.
