Pozwick records hat trick in division III hockey loss
The Kent State Division III hockey team fell to Robert Morris University Saturday afternoon 8-5.
The team gave up several powerplay goals. Coach Zack Nowak said those mistakes are prone to cost the team games.
“We were more undisciplined than we have been in the last few games,” Nowak said.”That really killed us tonight. I think if we didn’t take those penalties we would have given ourselves a great shot at winning that game.”
A hat trick by Mitchel Pozwick put the Flashes ahead early in the game, but the team was unable to maintain the lead.
“We competed really hard and showed we can compete at a high level,” Nowak said. “I think we played a great game as far as our decision making and play making goes.”
