Gift Guide: Red Letter Days and Off the Wagon
Off the Wagon is a family-owned eclectic toy store with gifts that will bring out childhood memories and provide a few laughs too.
According to its website, the store features weird, funny gag gifts for people of all ages.
Co-owner Michelle Sahr said games like “Cards Against Humanity” are always popular gifts during the holiday season.
Red Letter Days is also owned by Tim and Michelle Sahr and is connected to Off the Wagon.
Michelle Sahr describes Red Letter Days as a quirky stationery shop. Whether it is a coffee mug, a notepad or a decorative sign, this store is full of small knick knacks for customers shopping on a budget.
“We have a lot of inexpensive but really funny and impactful gifts that are hard to find,” Michelle said.
Red Letter Days also provides free gift wrapping for any item purchased.
With three businesses in downtown Kent, the Sahrs interact with a wide customer base and provide a large selection of gift items for all members of the family.
“I like that we have a lot of little independently-owned businesses in Kent and it makes it really unique … I’m invested in the community,” Michelle said.
