Kent police raise money for local people fighting cancer

Kent police department is raising money for Movember or no shave November.

This passion project is in honor of Officer Susan K. Graves and Detective Ray Stein who the department has lost to cancer.

For the past 14 years Kent’s police department has raised money and spread awareness about cancer. They focus on Breast Cancer Awareness in October and Men’s Health in November and December.

Male officers currently have scruffy faces and wear their jeans, or female officers might have a blue streak in their hair in pursuit of these initiatives.
