The Flashes walked away with their first bowl game victory after defeating Utah State in the Tropical Smoothie Café Frisco Bowl on Dec. 20, in Frisco, Texas. The Flashes had many spectacular plays throughout their seven-win season. However, these five particular plays will stand out when fans think about this 2019 team.

1. Dustin Crum’s game-winning touchdown run in the bowl game

Dustin Crum had a career day against Utah State. The junior quarterback had 436 total yards and three touchdowns. Crum sealed the Flashes first bowl game championship with a QB option touchdown run on fourth down with 1:56 left. The Flashes were celebrating shortly after their 51-41 win. This play will not only go down as the most important play of the season, but will be remembered as one of the most important plays in the history of Flashes football.
