“Breaking Bans” read in event protests against Ohio House Bill 327
Professors in the College of Communication and Information held a read-in on Wednesday, April 13 in protest of book bans and censorship.
The event was specifically a response to Ohio House Bill 327, which would seek to prevent the teaching of “divisive concepts” in public institutions.
Students and faculty were able to come to the event to read excerpts of their favorite books that have been banned. TV2’s Kennedy Gotham reports.
