Anti-Racism Task Force set to hold town meeting on racial equality progress
The Anti-Racism Task Force Transition Team is inviting the Kent State community to a town hall meeting Thursday, April 21 at 4 p.m. through Zoom, according to a press release from the university.
While the Anti-Racism Task Force gathered more than 100 recommendations to address anti-racism and racial equity at the university last year, the transition team is working to implement some of the recommendations, the press release stated.
At the meeting, committee members will present what has already been done along with what work will continue into this summer and the following academic year, the release stated.
Those in attendance can register in advance for the meeting. For more information about the anti-racism efforts at the university, click here.
