Quavo to replace Blackbear at FlashFest 2022
A day after Undergraduate Student Government announced Blackbear would no longer headline FlashFest following a positive COVID test in his touring crew, Quavo has signed on as the new headline act, according to Alice Fermaintt, director of programming for USG.
Following the announcement of Blackbear’s absence the concert was made free to all students. With the addition of Quavo that will remain the case, Fermaintt said.
“Students who have already purchased their tickets will receive a full refund and the concert is now FREE for all undergraduate Kent State students,” Fermaintt said in a press release. “We want to encourage everyone to come out to FlashFest 2022. All students must reserve a ticket in order to enter the concert.”
Doors open at 6 p.m. at the M.A.C.C. and the concert starts at 7 p.m. All previously purchased tickets will no longer be honored. Tickets can be reserved by going to USG’s website and clicking on programming.
