Kent State students to voice opinions on university curriculum
The Division of Academic Affairs is orchestrating a forum for students to voice their concerns about the overall learning experience at Kent State.
“You can help guide the direction we take to continue shaping and enriching the learning experience for all students,” Associate Provost Manfred van Dulmen said in the press release.
Students are invited to share their initial thoughts on a feedback form prior to the forum. Academic Affairs is looking for suggestions regarding student life, academic experiences, new program offerings, class experiences and more. The Academic Affairs Strategic Plan, known as the Golden Road to Student Success, allows students to have an active role in shaping the Kent State experience.
The forum for graduate students will be held on March 22 from noon to 1:30 p.m., and the forum for undergraduate students will be March 23 from noon to 1:30 p.m., in the Design Innovation Hub DI 250 Fellows Suite. Remote attendance options are offered via Google Teams. Lunch will be provided, and registration is recommended.
“No matter the path you took toward pursuing your dream career, starting a business, curating an expedition or even pursuing an advanced degree, it’s the Golden Road to Student Success that lights the way to the finish line” van Dulmen said.
