Visiting Artists in Painting will host a lecture by Pamela Fraser 5 p.m. today in room 202 of the Art Building.

Fraser, a painting professor, will discuss her work, her approach and her philosophy.

Fraser said it will be like a survey of what she has done over the past 15 years.

All students are welcome at the event.

“I think students should be exposed to a variety of different works and approaches,” Fraser said. “It allows for an up-close and personal experience.”

The lecture will last about 40 minutes with a question-and-answer session at the end.
