Junior catcher Kurt Eichorn added a solo home run, his team-leading seventh on the season. Sophomore shortstop Emmanuel Burriss added two hits along with Eichorn. Both he and Eichorn scored two runs.

The Flashes fell behind 2-0 in the top of the first but immediately responded by scoring eight of their nine runs in the first three innings. The game was highlighted by a five-run third inning for the Flashes.
