The women’s basketball team looks to continue its winning ways 2 p.m Saturday at the M.A.C. Center.

Kent State will face a tough Eastern Michigan squad that is coming off a win against Central Michigan.

After a slow start to the season the Flashes have turned up their play just in time for the Mid-American Conference schedule to begin. Wednesday’s 72-69 win at Buffalo ran their conference record to 4-1, good enough for second place in the MAC East. Their only conference loss came to No.18 Bowling Green.

Eastern Michigan is also 4-1 in the MAC.

The last time the two teams played, the Flashes claimed a 70-56 victory at Eastern Michigan March 3, 2006.
