Women’s basketball returns Saturday
Last time you saw them it was Jan. 20. They were spotted at Ball State four days later and at Toledo just a week ago. You didn’t forget about them, right?
After a two week hiatus from the M.A.C. Center, the Kent State women’s basketball team will meet Western Michigan at 7 p.m. on Saturday.
The Flashes have won four of their last five games and look to remain hot against a Broncos squad that has struggled in Mid-American Conference play.
After beating Akron 82-58 Saturday, the Broncos improved their conference record to 2-6 for the season, a polar opposite to the Flashes 6-2 record in the MAC.
Saturday’s game also gives the Flashes a chance to get back to their winning ways at home. The Jan. 20 loss to Eastern Michigan snapped a 10-game home winning streak. Kent State holds an impressive 118-14 home record over the past twelve seasons.
