Basketball: Mid-game musings

Something strange was coming from the stands at the M.A.C Center yesterday.

For the first time all year, there was a little fan participation. Cheers and boos could be heard, and fan emotion was actually shown at a women’s game. The first-half noise level reached a high when Mallorie Griffith was called for an over the back.

The emotion filtered down to the Flashes’ bench. When Kristin Peoples hit an NBA-range 3, the bench erupted.

As always, associate head coach Lori Bodnar’s voice was audible after questionable calls.
