That’s What She Said drops Marhefka in doubleheader
In intramural co-ed softball action Monday night, That’s What She Said defeated Team Marhefka 15-0 and 15-3.
Highlights from That’s What She Said came from player/coach Andy “Space Cadet” Hansen, who played strong defense in the outfield and later at shortstop and had an RBI triple in the first inning of game one. “Nudie” Nick Schulz capped off the mercy-rule victory with an in-the-park grand slamarino to end the second game.
That’s What She Said’s Jenna “Jameson” Heinman had an RBI triple, and Evan “Ihaveatailgrowinginbetweenmybuttcheeks” Long was solid at the plate throughout.
Notable on defense were pitcher Stephanie “Sloth” Smith, who continued her Golden Glove/Cy Young worthy season and shortstop Kyle “Let’s get wasted” Schwab. Also, first baseman Tommy “Do It” Vick turned a sharp double play in the second game.
