Students to display filmmaking abilities

Earlier this semester, students were invited to test their movie-making abilities and submit a short work of fewer than 15 minutes to the second annual Black Squirrel Flix Fest. According to CCI Commons Program Coordinator Marianne Warzinski, there were about 16 submissions.

There were no pre-determined genre requirements, so students could film anything they wanted, from music videos to short films.

The screenings take place tonight at 7 p.m. in Nixson Hall, Room 104. The Black Squirrel Flix Fest is open to all students, and admission is free of charge.
