Allerton Sports Complex was home to two great co-rec softball games last Wednesday night, April 18, when the Dane Cook inspired teamBAMF played a doubleheader against the Boozers.

With clutch hits from Tom Balzano (two points!), Katie Wolfrum, Kortney Figgins, and Paul Taylor, teamBAMF took the first game with their bats, 9-2.

In the second game, teamBAMF pulled out a close one, 3-2, this time will solid pitching

from Carl W. Singer and stellar defense from the “Omar-Robby” team of shortstop P.T. and second baseman Tania McCloy.

The play of the game came from the hot corner when third baseman Jen Hallos made a “web-gem” of a catch when a line-shot came rocketing toward her. What a play!

It was a great night for softball and a great night with great friends.
