Drinking games and useful information

Students interested in drinking games – but not the risk of making poor decisions, endangering their bodies and dealing with nasty hangovers – should make their way to Studio B of Beall Hall at 9 tonight.

The first ever Bar Exam, sponsored by Kent Interhall Council, isn’t a traditional alcohol awareness program. Students can play root beer pong, ping-pong, corn hole, card games and a can building game.

Representatives from the Kent State Police Department, Townhall II and Mothers Against Drunk Driving will speak at the event.

Information about alcohol abuse and the dangers of drunk driving will be provided to help students make the better choice, said Zane Powell, sophomore marketing major and KIC director of programming.

“We think it’s a big subject around campus,” Powell said.
