Kent State Men’s basketball wins in home opener
The Kent State men’s basketball team defeated Hampton, 77-71, tonight at the M.A.C. Center.
The Flashes (1-1) led for most of the game but had to fight off a Hampton comeback in the final minutes to pull through with the victory.
Sophomore Mike McKee and junior Rashad Woods led the Flashes with 16 points each, while senior Mike Scott chipped in 14 points of his own.
The Flashes will be back in action Sunday at 2 p.m. in the M.A.C. Center, as they host Coppin State.
