Men’s basketball reaches 20 wins
The Kent State men’s basketball team clinched its 10th consecutive season with at least 20 wins, winning 79-66 tonight at Central Michigan.
The Flashes (20-5, 9-2 Mid-American Conference) never trailed en route to their third straight win.
Junior guard Al Fisher scored a career-high 28 points to lead the team. He shot 8-of-17 from the field and 11-of-15 from the free-throw line. Senior forward Mike Scott added 10 points.
The Flashes began the season as one of nine teams with at least nine seasons of 20-plus wins in a row.
