Dem. candidates to debate in Philadelphia

Sens. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama will face off tonight in an ABC debate less than one week away from the Pennsylvania Democratic primary election.

The 90-minute debate will air at 8 p.m. from the National Constitution Center’s Kimmel Theater in Philadelphia. ABC News’ anchors Charles Gibson and George Stephanopoulos will moderate the debate.

Pennsylvania’s primary is Tuesday. Indiana and North Carolina will hold primaries two weeks later on May 6.

Obama leads in the total delegate count with 1,638 opposed to Clinton’s 1,502, according to The Associated Press. In order to secure the Democratic Party’s nomination, 2,025 delegates are needed.
