The Board of Trustees approved the collective bargaining agreement between the university and the Kent State chapter of the American Association of University Professors in a special session today. The tenure-track faculty approved the contract Aug. 18.

The contract, which runs through Aug. 23, 2011, provides salary increases of 3 percent each year and domestic partner benefits.
