Who is a real woman?

I will admit that I still have a MySpace account. I use it about every week; however, I never talk to people on there. The reason I still keep this account is because I like to read people’s profiles, especially the “Who I’d like to meet?” part. It really gives you an inside look of the American dating culture.

Sometimes, people are very creative with their choices, but for the most part, MySpace users are looking for their second half. Females often tend to have a list of habits that men must have. Some common and basic characteristics include, “goal-oriented, educated, wise, protective, sophisticated, real, not a mind-player and preferably with no children.” As I read through this, I think to myself, “There are many men like that walking around. It shouldn’t be too hard to find one.” And then I look at their pictures and think, “Oh. Well, fix your moral character first, and then you might be successful in finding your perfect match.”

Females today have changed the meaning of being a true woman. You constantly see females who find drinking or smoking pot on a regular basis to be entertaining. It is common to see females “u$3in d!$ 3nqlish,” and who have multiple sexual partners. Being aggressive and loud seems to be popular. It is practically impossible to find a girl who would provide a comforting hug and a supportive audience for a story she’s heard a thousand times.

So many girls say deep words, kiss and touch passionately, all of which are either true for the moment or never real to begin with. It is becoming impossible to find a girl who a guy can take home to introduce to his mom.

Where did femininity go?

I am ashamed of young women who have no class left today. I am tired of constantly seeing girls wearing short skirts that barely cover their butts. It is even more annoying to see a female going to class wearing a low-cut shirt that makes her breasts fall out. It is not sexy; it is slutty. Sexy is attire that will emphasize femininity, sophistication and class. Slutty is a piece of clothing that will cover some parts of a female body until they make it to the closest bedroom. It’s na’ve to assume that that a man will want to have a relationship with a girl after she had sex with him on their first date. That connection was just as disposable as the condom they used last night.

If a girl is easy, it does not mean that she is respected and wanted. Maybe physically wanted but not in any other aspect. If she doesn’t behave, it does not mean that she is trying to fit into modern standards; it means she is lowering her standards because she believes that she does not deserve better. A man will only treat her the way she allows him to treat her. No tricks will make him stay with you.

If a man wants you, nothing can keep him away. If he doesn’t want you, nothing can make him stay. And there is no need to make up different stories and to throw yourself at men. Where is our pride, ladies?

What is a real woman? From my understanding, a real woman is a lady who has class, sophistication and femininity. By having class, I mean being strong enough to not let modern society dictate who to be and how to act. It means to have her own set of values that will lead her to success. And her actions, her present stage of life, and her motivation for the future are the aspects that will prove to a man that when she says something, she means it.

By being sophisticated, I mean to express yourself in an educated, wise and sharp way. It requires an ability to challenge and to share ideas. A sophisticated lady will carry herself with dignity, respect and pride. She will have fortitude and compassion.

And by being feminine, I mean a lady who will be a woman at the end of the day. She will be in touch with her feminine nature. Her mission in life is not in challenging men and competing with men wherever possible; she enjoys pleasing men without feeling ashamed of it. She recognizes the differences between men and women in psychology, physiology and sexuality and accepts those differences as laws of nature. As such, she does not hate men, and is not overly skeptical or pessimistic about her ability to fall in love and enjoy great romance.

So, ladies, bring to the table whatever you want your man to offer you.
