House catches fire on South Willow Street
Firefighters from at least three departments responded to a house fire at 324 S. Willow St. at about 12:20 a.m. today.
Police blocked off both ends of the block to allow access for seven fire trucks, as smoke poured from the roof of the house.
Firefighters broke windows to allow for ventilation. The fire started on a stove in the kitchen, according to the Kent Police scanner. No one was injured in the fire.
