The Portage County Local Health Departments will offer H1N1 flu vaccines for free from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. tomorrow at the Ravenna Elks Lodge.

According to Portage County Health Department’s Web site, the vaccines will be given to people who meet at least one of the following criteria:

&bull Ages 6 months to 24 years old

&bull Ages 64 and younger with chronic health conditions, such as asthma, diabetes, heart disease, and/or other chronic health conditions that compromise the immune system

&bull Pregnant women

&bull Health care and emergency medical services personnel who provide direct patient care

&bull Caregivers and household contacts of babies less than 6 months old

People can preregister to receive the vaccine at https://h1n1vaccine.odh.ohio.gov/.

The Ravenna Elks Lodge is located at 776 N. Freedom St.
