The Portage Area Regional Transit Authority will offer extended late-night services this weekend and next.

On Dec. 4, 5, 11 and 12, the late-night shuttle will run from 11 a.m. to 3 a.m. the next day.

PARTA Operations Coordinator Richard Giles only said “the change is due to recent events on (and) near campus.”

“Also, during the week, the late-night shuttle typically waits at the stadium for passengers,” Giles said in an e-mail. “The shuttle on Friday and Saturday will wait for passengers at the Student Center.”

Giles said anyone can request a ride from one place on campus to another by calling 330-672-RIDE.
