Residents dominate domino competition
Toy soldiers, mousetraps, poker chips and popsicle sticks helped teams competing in last night’s domino competition earn extra points.
Yesterday, Kent Interhall Council sponsored Domino Domination, a competition put together by Paul Petrick, Director of Community Development.
Teams from Dunbar, Olson and Engleman Halls competed in the competition. Teams were judged based on numerous factors such as longest knockdown time and use of props.
With 34 props, Olson won the competition with a score of 520. Dunbar came in second place with a score of 340, and Engleman in last place with a score of 100. The winning team received a $50 gift card to their food place of choice.
