MIT psychology professor discussing research tomorrow

Earl Miller, a distinguished psychology professor at MIT, is discussing “Categories, Concepts and Cognition in the Brain” Thursday at 3:30 p.m. in the Kiva. Miller earned his undergrad in psychology from Kent State.

“He is one of ours who is very successful,” said psychology professor David Riccio, who met with Miller when he was at Kent State.

Riccio said students in many areas of study could benefit by attending Miller’s presentation.

“It is always a valuable experience when you can get to hear a world-class expert talk about his or her research,” Riccio said.
