Volleyball begins four-game home stretch

After playing two home games in the teams last eight Mid-American Conference matches, the Kent State volleyball team will start a four-game home stretch this Friday welcoming Northern Illinois to the M.A.C. Center, then Saturday against Western Michigan.

Saturday’s match against the Broncos is selected as Kent State’s “Dig for the Cure” match this season.

Fans are encouraged to wear pink at the match in support of breast cancer awareness. Pink ribbons will be handed out at the door. Fans who donate to the donation collection will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a prize.

Kent State (10-13, 3-5 MAC) is coming off a two-game losing streak after falling to Toledo, 3-0, and Ball State, 3-1, last weekend.
