Campus hosts international film series

The History Department is hosting Global Lens 2010, featuring 11 films from countries including Iran, Mexico and Vietnam, beginning Nov. 10.

The Global Film Initiative, which promotes cross-cultural understanding through the medium of cinema, is launching The Global Lens Partner Program; a new, nationwide initiative to support community and education-based film exhibition partnerships, according to globalfilm.org.

The series can be seen in more than 35 locations across the U.S. and Canada. Since its launch, it has created a platform for outstanding storytelling and opened a window into our diverse world.
