The Fashion Student Organization will host its second-annual Goodwill Personal Styling Competition at 7 p.m. on Friday in Rockwell Auditorium.

The competition was open only to fashion merchandising majors, said Monika Lange, secretary of FSO and senior fashion merchandising major. Participants purchased entire outfits, except shoes, from Goodwill and local thrift stores to create one-of-a-kind outfits.

Students could not change the garment in any way, Lange said, unless a hemline or button had to be fixed.

Lange said fashion design majors would judge the looks and choose three winners. The first-place winner will get a $50 Visa gift card, and the second and third-place winners will receive $20 gift cards.
