Fall concert schedule
During a semester with 8 a.m. classes and 15-page term papers, everyone needs a chance to see some great live music. Luckily, we go to school in an area where the best bands swing through on a regular basis. Here’s our list of some of the best concerts during Fall semester.

Time: Gates open at 4:00 p.m. Show starts at 4:30 p.m.

Foo Fighters with Rise Against and Mariachi el Bronx

Sept. 21
LG Ones to Watch Presents Motion City Soundtrack and Jarrod Gorbel
Where: House of Blues Cleveland
Time: Doors at 7 p.m. Show at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets: $27.50 in advance, $30 day of show
Motion City Soundtrack will be taking the stage at the House of Blues for two consecutive nights. On night one, which is sold out, the band from Minneapolis will be playing its albums “I Am the Movie” and “Commit This to Memory” and on the second night the band will play its other two albums “Even if it Kills Me” and “My Dinosaur Life.”

LG Ones to Watch Presents Plain White T’s with The Summer Set, The Downtown Fiction and Allison Park

Oct. 23
The Noise Tour featuring Mayday Parade with We Are The In Crowd, You Me at Six, There for Tomorrow and The Make

Journeys will be sponsoring The Noise Tour, which begins Oct. 13 and ends Nov. 19. Headlining the tour is Florida band Mayday Parade, which formed in 2005 and has since released two full-length albums. The band’s third full-length album will be released Oct. 4.

Pop Punk’s Not Dead Tour featuring New Found Glory with Set Your Goals, The Wonder Years, Man Overboard and This Time Next Year

The Pop Punk’s Not Dead Tour will take place on The Scene Stage at the House of Blues. New Found Glory will be headlining the tour. The band’s new album, “Radiosurgery” will be released Oct. 4.

The third annual AP Tour sponsored by Alternative Press magazine will be headlined by Four Year Strong. The Cleveland show will be the last stop on the tour, as this is where the music magazine is located.
