The Kent State Police Department will be focusing its attention on campus security this Halloween weekend. Some residence halls will require guests to wear wristbands while visiting.
“But this year, we’re really focusing only on campus since our shifts are just overlapping,” said Officer Michquel Penn.
Students agree with the extra safety precautions.
“If you have hundreds of guests on one floor, things could just get out of control if people don’t keep it in check,” said sophomore Michael Caroline.
