DKS Photographers visit Washington D.C. for MLK Day

A group of Kent State photojournalism students traveled to Washington D.C. the weekend before Martin Luther King Jr. Day to experience and document the holiday somewhere other than northeast Ohio. People of all ethnicities came to the memorial throughout the day to pay their respects to the late Martin Luther King Jr. and witness the monument that eternalizes the hopes and dreams King had that changed this nation forever. These photos are what the photographers documented.
