Trending on Election Night
Twitter reported that it had 20 million election-related tweets Tuesday, making this Election Day the most tweeted-about event in U.S. political history.
When the results began to come in, Twitter also reported it had 327,000 tweets per minute, the peak of the night.
Barack Obama also posted a tweet that read “Four more years,” which was then retweeted a record number of times, making it the most popular tweet in history.
