University preps for the football team’s big game

It’s been a record breaking season for the KSU Football team this year. The team is headed to its first championship game since 1972. The university is pulling together to create a positive atmosphere for the team.

A pep rally will take place in the MACC Center at 9 Thursday morning. There, a few of the football players will pass out their post season rally towels. After the pep rally the team will load up the busess and head to Detroit, but they aren’t the only ones. The university arranged busess for 400 students. These students will have a free ride to the game. The marching band will also go to Friday’s game. This is the first away game the band has traveled to his season. TV2 Reporter Zach Harley has more details.
