I would like to comment on the “Jeers” in Friday’s DKS. I would like to explain that the pastor who was made to apologize for worshiping with people of other faiths belongs to a small minority group of Lutherans. This group is so conservative that they won’t even participate in church services with other Lutherans. The majority of Lutherans would be honored to work and worship with people of other faiths. My husband, a Lutheran pastor, participated in a prayer vigil with Sikhs after the shooting in Milwaukee. I don’t want all of us lumped together with a conservative fringe group.
