College Goal Sunday to take place on Feb. 10

Kent State will hold College Goal Sunday on Sunday Feb. 10 at 2 p.m. The event will take place at Franklin Hall on the second floor of the building.

College Goal Sunday is a free program geared toward helping students and their parents complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.

The event is sponsored by the Ohio Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators, Ohio College Access Network, USA Funds, and Great Lakes Higher Education and is endorsed by the Ohio Board of Regents.

“Kent State University’s Student Financial Aid Office applied to the OASFAA organization for selection as a College Goal Sunday location and was selected to hold the event,” said Sylvia Bustard, associate director of financial aid. “The Office of Student Financial Aid, as host, hopes to assist students and parents in Portage County with completing the FAFSA form to help promote access to higher education in Portage County.”

Students are encouraged to register online at www.ohiocollegegoalsunday.org or by calling 1-800-233-6734.
