Bromance art show will feature two senior students’ work
Expressive colors, phrases and concepts coat the canvases and picture frames along the walls in Room 310B in the art building. Senior art education majors Dan Humphrey and Dillon Sedar are hosting an opening reception on March 15 for their collaborative show, Bromance, celebrating years of artwork and friendship.
Sedar said the reception will feature more than 40 pieces of artwork from both artists. He said he and Humphrey have worked for years to accumulate their artwork and find the right opportunity to display their work in a show.
“I dreamed of this since the start of our freshman year and just kept making art,” Sedar said. “It’s amazing to be here now. It’s unbelievable that we have a show, and I’m very proud of what we’ve both done.”
Humphrey said all of the pieces in the Bromance show are for sale.
“A lot of our stuff is listed [on] our own websites with certain prices,” Humphrey said. “Some of the work has already been sold, but most of it still available.”
The Bromance reception will take place on March 15 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in Room 310B in the art building for all interested students and faculty to attend.
