Kent State University features award-winning student media, including TV2 KSU and The Daily Kent Stater.
Both TV2 and DKS are completely run and managed by students.
And two of the media leaders are women who happen to have a special connection.
Reporter Candace Monacelli gives an inside look at the leading ladies behind KSU’s student media.
Right now, outside of student media work, Jessica Schmidt and Leighann McGivern are both trying to focus on applying for jobs and preparing for their upcoming graduation.
